The new location of this services blog is still TBD.

05 Jul 2010 » Hardware replaced + software upgraded
permalink
The hardware running percival and related services has been upgraded to a HP DL360 G6.

percival OS has been replaced with an amd64 squeeze installation.
Jabber, silk, ns1 have been moved into containers, and percival itself has also been containerized.

While the upgrades are complete, there might still be missing services or other issues. If you experience problems, please contact root.

Update: secondary CPU was added.

07 Jun 2010 » Jabber service moved
permalink
Jabber service for @namespace.at now runs on a new IP address.

This basically should not affect you, if it does: check that you do not have a hard-coded 'connect server' set in your client. (If you must set a 'connect server', specify 'jabber.namespace.at'.)
